A neighbourhood shelf has to work for every neighbour, and so does this website.
Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we’ve done
- Real labels and headings, so screen readers announce every page clearly.
- Buttons and links at least 44 pixels tall, so they’re easy to tap.
- A visible focus outline for keyboard users, and a skip link to the content.
- Text contrast of at least 4.5 to 1, in light and dark mode.
- A typeface designed for readability, and plain language throughout.
- A written version of the words in our partner film.
